The 21 colors offered are derived from the spectrum of the rainbow. They were obtained from a very specific “oil painting on water” marbling technique, which allows the Zaphir chime to retain its unique design.

Each chime consists of 8 piano wires soldered with silver on their metal base. They will then be tuned one by one to the tenth of a mm, in order to obtain the precise chords which will allow the interaction of the harmonics when the pearl hits the wires on a circular random movement.

The resonance tube is made from thin layers of cellulose calendered under high pressure. By spiraling and sealing the multiple layers, a fine and hard cylinder is obtained, making it possible to guarantee the acoustic qualities essential to obtaining a warm and crystalline tone.

The dimensions of the Zaphir chime correspond to the principle of natural balance linked to L. Da Vinci's golden ratio, a fundamental point for the quality of acoustic waves.

Most of the materials used to manufacture Zaphir chimes are environmentally friendly (Green-Label) and recyclable.
